What is duty drawback, and how does it work?

Duty drawback refunds up to 99% of the duties you paid on imports that you later export, destroy, or return. We collect your data, match the entries that connect, file the claim with CBP, and follow it until your refund lands.

How do I know if my company qualifies?

If you import goods and later export, destroy, or return them, you likely qualify. The export can be a different item than the one you imported, and it can even be shipped by another company. Send us your history and we will come back with a dollar figure.

What are pre-entry and post-entry audits?

Two checks on the entries your broker files with CBP. The pre-entry audit reviews each entry before it is filed: classification, value, origin, and the duties applied. Errors get fixed before they cost you anything. The post-entry audit reviews entries after they are filed, while the Post-Summary Correction window is still open, and catches whatever slipped through so it can be corrected before the entry liquidates.

What does Caspian's trade advisory cover?

The decisions that set what you owe at the border: classification, valuation, country of origin, and duty strategy. Licensed advisors make those calls, and the platform audits every entry underneath them.

How is Caspian different from a traditional customs broker?
